The National Postcode Lottery grants the Plastic Soup Foundation 600.000 Euros

Amsterdam, 7 February 2017 – The Plastic Soup Foundation would like to thank the National Postcode Lottery and all its members! Yesterday evening, during the annual Goed Geld Gala in Koninklijk Theater Carré, the Plastic Soup Foundation received a cheque for 600,000 Euros.
The National Postcode Lottery has a number of grants available for organisations to protect our oceans and calls plastic pollution in the marine environment an urgent problem.

Maria Westerbos, Director of the Plastic Soup Foundation: “We are incredibly happy with this gift from the National Postcode Lottery. Thank you so much! This money will help us run new campaigns in the battle against the plastic soup.”
